Abstract


The German transition to a low-carbon economy, Energiewende, is widely recognized in the context of combating climate change. The article presents an overview of the measures taken by Germany in fighting climate change and is a product of the author's personal impressions of the meeting of Central and Eastern European media representatives, organized by the adelphi consulting company within the initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
