Quality Management of Hospital Services Under ISO 9001: 2008 as an Integral Part of the International Organization Standartization Series

Abstract
The International Standard ISO 9001: 2008 promotes the adoption of a process approach to quality management of hospital services, based on the principle that any activity in which resources are invested, which results in it, is considered a process. The efficient functioning of the hospital implies the identification and management of numerous internal processes. Often the input of a process directly reflects on the quality of the next process. That is why the systematic identification and management of the processes used in the hospital, as well as the interactions between them, is defined as a "process approach
