Sustainability and sustainable development are largely considered to be difficult to quantify. On Assessment of sustainability can be done via various economic, social, institutional and environmental indicators, or via selected aggregated indicators. The aim of this paper is to assess whether at the level of EU countries can be identified internal relations between selected indicators of sustainable development and global economic indicator - GDP per capita.
