State and trends in air pollution in Devnya industrial area

Abstract

Devnya Industrial Complex was one of the most technologically contaminated areas in the Republic of Bulgaria. The study aims to establish the status of the air subjected to the impact of human activity and the dynamics of contaminant processes, comparing to a similar study conducted by the author in 1999 in the same area. The air quality data between 2010 and 2013, has been used for tracking of the level of air pollution over this period.
