Author Guidelines

Technical requirements for the papers

Page Format: A4; Page fields: 2.5 cm from all sides; Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Papers must include:

Papers should include the following obligatory elements: title, names of the author(s), abstract (up to 500 words)[1] and keywords (in English), introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, conclusion, references list[2].

The oral presentation of a report within the conference program lasts up to 10 minutes. The poster presentation could be a poster in electronic format (ppt, pdf, etc.) and/or on a paper version.

The papers will be published in a conference proceedings on the site: http://science.uard.bg/

Working languages: Bulgarian, English, Russian



[1] It contains in a concise way the specific features of the study - the subject, the methodology used, the main results and conclusions.

[2] APA Style is recommended. The citations in the text are with the author's surname and the year of publication in brackets.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
  7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
